Hi my name is Gemma,
I am new to this and this is the 1st forum I have ever joined.
I am starting up my own Virtual Assistant Business. I am still at the early planning stages and the more research I do the more my business plan changers. The reason I have decided to start my own business is because I have a little boy aged 2 and another baby on it's way in October. Before I had my little boy I was a business Bank Manager and after Mat leave I really didn’t want to return to work full time but the bank wouldn't allow me to return part time. I couldn't find a job part time so that’s why I am going to give this a go.
I don't plan to start trading until next April so in the mean time I am trying to get as much sorted as possible before this next baby gets here.
I am planning on having a niche to my business and work mostly with Tradesmen or small businesses in the construction trade. I would like to offer Bookkeeping, VAT returns, sending & chasing on quotes and all the simple paperwork or small jobs they need fulfilling.
I am currently looking into good home learning courses for Sage bookkeeping, if anyone can suggest any I would be very grateful.
I am also looking into all the Legal templates I have found these but am unsure if its a good idea or not
