There is a wordpress plugin called Page Links To http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/page-links-to/ which allows you to point WordPress pages or posts to a URL of your choosing. Good for setting up navigational links to non-WP sections of your site or to off-site resources. Follow the instructions to download the plugin and you can set up the navigation menu to indicate, 'Website' or some such title and then link your website to your blog.
Is there any way to change the text of that button and use it as a link back to my website? Or any other way to link to my website? I can't find this info anywhere in the settings or anywhere else.
I'm not familiar with your WP template...was this something you purchased or was it a free download? If you purchased, chances are there is a forum or a support area specific to that theme company. I learned so much about my own template from the template forum through posting questions.
If you want to change the text of the button, you may need to look in the Appearance section in your dashboard of the WP theme to see if there is a place to rename the tabs. Poke around your theme options and see if there is a way to make that change. You may need to post a support question if you cannot find it.
Semi-related, this setup does not really accomplish what I wanted, which is the blog to be a page on my website (although its url is mysitename/blog, it's not really a page on my site, if that makes sense). Next time, I'll build the site on Wordpress (after I learn it!!! LOL). I've just spent a ton of time building the site and don't really want to switch over now.[/QUOTE]
