Hello, I am hope that I am posting this in the right place.

I am working on a site for a client, www.karenjsmithandassociates.c om and I thought that I had the header image up the way the client wanted it. Now she emails me last night and says that she wants it to be a bit different than what it looks like. The issue is if you take a look at the site, the header image that I have up she wants the man to span the whole way down the right side and all the information on each page enclosed between the black bars with the beige circle still in the same place.

I guess my question is, how to heck to I take the image (which I did not create, her graphic designer did) and have it up so that all the content on each page is enclosed properly?

I am using Headway themes to do the site and I am hoping someone can give me some advice or point my in the right direction of getting this done! I am new at website design and this is my fourth site that I have done and I dont know if I have bit off more than I can chew.

If you want the man to be down the side then he needs to be in the background not the header. You will need to determine how much space will be needed for content and then build your black line circle area form there.

This cannot be achieved with a header image as that is a static area. The content module of the program then goes after that. This is more custom work then just straight tweeks to the theme since you will need to determine how much area the content will take up and adjust the background image to that.

As Lee mentioned it will take some additional coding, but depending on what version of HW you are using will determine how much extra and how difficult it might be. And..I agree it would be easiest to just add it as a background image...but the good thing is that with 3.0 I think (I have to play with it) but I think that even with the background, each page can be different.

The question I have is that the image is already created with the bottom black bar as part of the image, so how are you supposed to get the man on the right? LOL.
