I just wanted to pass along that I attended WordCamp in Columbus, Ohio this weekend and it was fantastic! WordCamp is an organization that is all about WordPress. I am less than a novice when it comes to websites and I found this seminar very helpful. The seminar was 8 hours on Saturday and 3 hours on Sunday. Cost was $40 and included a $20 debit card to use toward food and a free t-shirt. There were 4 categories of classes offered: Beginners (which of course I attended), Marketing, Power Users and Developers. The speakers were awesome and included Syed Bahlki, the owner and author of www.wpbeginner.com and Michelle Hummel the founder and CEO of Web Media Expert www.WebMediaExpert.com. What I really loved about this organization is that they, like VAF, is into "paying it forward". None of the speakers were paid. They were all experts who donated their time. To say the least, I walked away from this camp with a lot of additional knowledge and a lot of enthusiasm and motivation.

I have heard wonderful things about WordCamp and am waiting for it to get to my area before attending. I am glad that you were able to get much information from the sessions and took advantage of the networking it brought with it.
