I'm doing a job that requires a specific font. I found it on fonts.com but unfortunately $25 for the three letters that I need is a little steep. I'm just checking to see if there are other resources out there.

I use http://www.searchfreefonts.com/ - it doesn't always have what you need, but it's always worth a try!

What font do you need? Perhaps I have it in my arsenal or I could find it for you.

I checked a couple of font sites and it doesn't appear that this would be a free font anywhere. The lowest price I found was $20.

The other option would be to go to What the Font? and upload an image of a word with this font and they will give you some other similar fonts as options which might lead you to a free one that is similar enough to use.
