I like the html sitebuilder programs like Free Webs because i do not have to remeber of the html codes. I can you the little bit that I know and still complete the web site. That is way I am not offering webpage design right now.
To all who are curious about Worpdress. It's much easier than you think. Don't get overwhelmed by all the technical jargon. I am always happy to help and answer questions.
I use Dreamweaver CS3, but in code view , not design view (too distracting for me ) for HTML, and CSS external style sheets. And, my brand new VA site is being constructed using WordPress. Someone else mentioned Joomla, and I have designed a site using that, and it is a pretty cool way to go also.

I've been playing around building websites for more years than I care to count. I've used html, sitebuilders and Frontpage in the past but I'm a huge fan of Wordpress. I love the ease that you can update your site, the addition of widgets to your sidebar(s) and the ability to install extremely powerful themes that give you dashboard control of so much more without coding. My business website/blog is built on it as well as my personal blog, book review site and writing blog.
Back in the day (LOL!!!) I used HTML with good old fashion notepad, then along came Frontpage, then along came Dreamweaver when I have to write a page with code like PHP or Coldfusion. I have used Word Press and CMS apps.
Just when we get a handle on the latest software....they switch it up on us! LOL!!
