Default Website/software recommendations?
Graphic design is not my thing...I fully admit that...which is why I usually leave it to the pros. But, I need something quick and simple so I think maaaaaaybe I can do it on my own. Can anyone recommend a free WYSIWYG graphics program (or 4?) that can create the following?

A banner
A 125x125 grahic
A button
A logo

I already know what I want for them and I know there are lots of sites out there that you can just plug in your info and it'll spit out some code for you so I thought you all might have a suggestion. Cheap/Free is best because this is an experiment I don't want to spend much $$ on.

Amanda, have you tried Paint.net? It's free and I've heard many members say that it's the greatest thing since sliced bread

There are a few other free graphics programs that are listed in our directory as well.

If you just want a button (like the little 80 x 15 size) search for Zappa's Brilliant Button Maker.

As to the rest of it - I'd *strongly* suggest designing a logo with at least Paint.net if not something more sophisticated (I've also heard Logo Creator is great and has been used by many of our VAs - it's about $30)

Have fun playing around with your graphics!

Thanks Tess.

I knew someone here would have specific recommendations off the top of their head. I was being just a *tad* lazy. But I did hunt around a bit and found this logo (http://www.templatesbox.com/free-logo-templates/054.htm) which is *exactly* what I had pictured in my head... My new, secret, secret project is underway...
