Default Sitewide Navigation Bar Help?
Hey! I am relatively new to website maintenance, and I am adding a navigation bar to every page of a site. Is there an easy way to do this? Should I rework every button and upload it to the FTP? Do I have to change every page individually or is there a way to update each page's navigation sidebar on one page?

Thanks in advance!

Totally depends on the template.
I can take a look at it for you (free, of course) and let you know. Just PM me the link to the site.

Thanks, PM forthcoming!

Although the client has now expressed a desire to use just a button, I'd like to know for future reference, so thanks!

Post Re: Sitewide Navigation Bar Help?
The best way is to design your navigation then put it into a server-side include file (with the ending .shtml). There are different ways to do that depending on the software you're using to create your web pages. I use Dreamweaver CS3 and all I have to do is click on "Insert/server-side include", choose the navigation file from the pop-up file list (navigation.shtml) and that's it.

Since the navigation file name never changes, you just change the buttons and/or links in the nav file and re-upload it whenever you change it, and it's automatically changed on every page.
