I've just had a quick glance through it and although very basic, it does provide a good outline to follow when revisiting an existing site or preparing to create a new one. Addresses everything from navigation to content, driving traffic, and relating to/engaging your visitors. It also provides links to further resources (some free, some paid).

LOL website development is an ongoing process, isn't it? I know it's frustrating at first, but the more you learn in that area the better off you are as a business owner...it's so worth it in the long run.

LOL! I'm so sorry to know that so many of you hate your websites! You should **love** it (if at all possible ), it's one of the most visible facets of your business and represents you to the online world....Whatever it is you're hating so much about it..don't forget there's lots of help available here on the forums. Just post your questions wherever they make the most sense and someone (more likely, many someones ) will jump in to assist you.

Great ebook!

Update on my "I Hate my Website." I guess what I hated the most was trying to do it the easy way, using a template. All the templates looked the same. So since then I have decided to shake things up and go with Expression web. Although it is taking more time to learn the CSS coding, I feel I will be happier in the long run. I tried learning Joomla, may I just say frustrated. I couldn't find out how to change my logo even. So that will go onto my list of programs to learn. My site is 90% complete. When I get it finished, I would love to post it here and get some feedback from you.

Good move! One of the best things you can do as a business owner is learn to take more control of your site - CSS is a great tool to have in your belt!
Don't worry about the Joomla thing - it's WAY more complicated than it needs to be - we're what you would call 'experienced' and we steer clear of it!

I'll look forward to seeing your site in the website reviews and announcements section!
