HAHAHAHA! Boy is that a hard to answer question for me.

I leave it alone for a couple months (don't even visit it sometimes, or check analytics. bad, bad, bad) & then I'll do minor/major changes everyday for weeks.

Well considering I redid my site again (used Wordpress self hosted) my norm was to adjust every few months. However now that I have easier access and capability to make changes it may be monthly or more if needed. My VA website is always a work in progress.

Great question! Mine varies; once I have it the way I like it, I don't typically touch it for a few months, but then I'll put it through a complete overhaul, sometimes changing everything from the content on the site to the structure itself to the free report that I offer. As with Lee, my site is also a never-ending work in progress!

I left it alone for over two years and then did a complete overhaul. Now I tweak it 'every once in a while', which wasn't an option so I voted 'monthly.'

It depends. I spent well over 2 months changing my site completely not too long ago. Since then, I have updated some content, added or changed items in the sidebar, etc. My website is an ongoing process. There are times I leave it alone, but that is rare. I have been looking at it lately wondering how to improve upon it and I do believe there is a minor overhaul coming in the near future. It will probably stay the way it is for a bit though, because I have a few other sites I am working on first! I think my problem is I am never 100% satisfied and feel there is ALWAYS room for improvement.

Since I finally have my site up and mostly how I like it, instead of spending many hours a day, I now update a few times a week, whether it be changing some wording, adding a new page or section, checking keywords/tags, or just dinking with images.

Doing in depth SEO is another story (still working on that slow but sure). I still haven't submitted my site to search engines!

Oh my! Am I the only 'change-a-holic'? It's hard to put a regularity on it though. There are some weeks where I add a page or tweak my design and then some weeks are so busy that I leave it alone for the most part.
Since I switched my site over to the Headway theme I've been like a kid in the candy store. Now it's so easy to change colors, add a sidebar, etc. that I don't even have to worry about it taking time out of my work day. I've been known to add a new design element during my lunch.
If any of you visited in the past few weeks you noticed that my site was even 'decorated' for Christmas. I 'took down the decorations' yesterday during a coffee break.
Maybe it's caused by watching too much HGTV?

My original site was a Wordpress site and I tweaked that everyday, but I encountered a problem that was taking all of my time to fix. I then went to Microsoft Office Live site, but now I am working on redesigning my site. Once I complete the redesign of my site I plan on updating the site monthly.

I tend to check it often and tweak often too. I sometimes try things out on my site before I let the client go live. I am always learning new things and this is my second major redesign since joining. I am also working on a wordpress site which will be up someday.

Cheers!!
