This is where I have come to a road block. Not sure if I am just being picky but I dont want to get stuck with a cheesy site so I opted to search for a website designer only to find their price range is from $500-$900. Please any advise would be appriciated...

Thanks for the suggestions on building your own site. These are a great option when just starting out.
