I happened to stumble upon this site Blue Voda this morning. From the reviews I read it appears to be simple and easy to use.

Thanks for sharing the link Dawn! Has anyone else had any experience with Blue Voda? This one is new to my radar so I haven't even heard their name until today

I have never heard of Blue Voda. It does look like a good web site builder. I would like to know if anyone tries it.

I'd be curious to see what the coding looks like. A lot of website builders have cumbersome coding and I've heard that's not good for search engine optimization.

Dawn,
I used Blue Voda quite awhile for another business I'm in. But, there were too many things I didn't like about it, one being I didn't care for the templates they had. There's another inexpensive website design & hosting program I found that was very easy to use - it's www.1and1.com. You can also purchase a domain name through them. I think I paid like $10 per month for website design & hosting. But, the program works best with Mozilla internet browser versus Internet Explorer. And Mozilla is free to download.

Hope this info is useful!

I don't know if this has been mentioned before in the forums but Google has a feature that allows you to build a website (as well as chat, share calendar, documents & more) for free. The only cost you incur is registering your domain name. If you already have a domain name it can be transferred, the help section is very easy to understand should you run it trouble. You can test it out without registering a domain name (a google sub-domain name is given).

Yes, I saw their website: http://pages.google.com/. I haven't tested it yet. I'll experiment with it later. I don't like their templates that much though.

I checked out doodlekit.com and the free progam does not have SEO included. What is that supposed to mean? It doesn't allow for meta tags? I found that confusing. I was under the impression that SEO is more of a process of different methods to increase site traffic (i.e. blog, content, keywords, sites linking back to your site, ect...) rather than an available option.
I'm not sure what they mean by that, but if they have those type of capabilities, I would choose the plan for only $14 that includes SEO capabilities. Just a thought.

Mikovirtual - I have a question for you. How do you use google pages, then also godaddy.com for sitebuilding and hosting? I have my domain name thru godaddy.com and paid $17.50 for two years. I'm seeking info on the website building and hosting. So, the goodle pages is what' confusing. Robin

I have built many pages with Weebly and it's great, super easy to navigate and create. Best of all it's FREE to host. The best thing I like is that when you want to add it to say a godaddy domain or any other common domain it gives you a tutorial on how to do it. Seems overwhelming when you are just learning how to do it all but Weebly makes it easy! I had no idea what I was doing and now, I feel like I learned alot by going through Weebly! I do want to look into Google because Google has soo many other applications that are fantastic! Good Luck.
