Hello! I am looking for something very specific. I am looking for VAs who have built their sites using Elegant Themes. I have paid for unlimited use of their themes BUT am having a hard time deciding which one would best fit my needs so I am looking for some inspiration. If you have a VA site you have built with Elegant Themes could you please post it here? Thank you so much. I'll post mine when it's done!

I used Elegant Theme's Cold Stone Nature theme for the framework of my VA site. BUT, if you look at the CS Nature theme at Elegant Themes, you'll see that the only thing still resembling that theme is the green menu.

I kind of went hog wild with developing and designing what I wanted for my site and ended up with what it is now. I don't like a site that looks like everyone else's (it's a pet peeve of mine ), so I ran with my ideas and fully customized that template. Did hang onto the green menu though - but did make it wider.

How crazy is this....I live in Iowa too (Central Iowa) ! I love your site and am so impressed and inspired by the amount of customization you did! I have customized an elegant theme for client but not to extent you did so I am so happy to see how far you can go with their templates. Thank you for sharing!

What a small world! Should have known by your username here - either that or you really love hawks. I'm in NW Iowa - just watching the corn field behind my home grow. (Next year will be beans, so I will have a better view. ) When the darn crop dusters run their planes, it scares the bejeebers out of my three kitties when they get busy diving down for hours (at least it seems that way!) at a time.

As I said, I went "hog wild" with customizing my site, LOL. I loved the look of the ET CS Nature theme, but it just wouldn't work with what I envisioned for my "sunny" site. It was time consuming, but quite fun! Aw, glad I was able to give you some inspiration. To tell you the truth, any theme can be customized, so one doesn't have to use ET to do it. (You probably already know that, but just for those that read this discussion that aren't as familiar with WP I thought I'd toss that out there. )

I've used Elegant Themes that I customized for client sites, too. One I did I put a cool background image up in the top corner (gotta love z-index ) to spice things up a bit, plus a lot of other changes. That client was so pleased that I'll be doing another site for her soon.

You have fun messing around with changing things up in ET. Fun, fun, fun! And enjoy this dang hotter weather; I'm ready for Fall.

UMMM this is getting crazier...I grew up in NW Iowa! And am a U of I alumni so yes, I love the Hawks! Thanks again for sharing your ideas and experience with elegant themes. I like them so far and look forward to seeing what i can do with them!
