That is a really great interview. Wish it could be in a major publisher, or on CNN or something. I don't even use the term virtual assistant when networking because people get very confused. Something like this would be very helpful.

Michael Hyatt is super supportive of VAs. I read about them on his blog.

I thought it was a good article, I went through it fast But what caught my eye was this comment below:

Me: What are some examples of things VEAs can’t or shouldn’t do?
Tricia: There are certain areas that really require a specialist. These might include things like accounting or outbound sales efforts.



I cannot say I agree with this as a I feel VAs are specialists in their specific skills sets which include almost anything and everything under the sun which includes accounting and sales.



I understand everything cannot be done virtually but I don't think this is what the question was about. Any thoughts?

He's written more than one article on virtual assistants. They always seem to point the reader in the direction of his VEA. Overall, though, they are always well written and are fairly accurate (with the exception of little thinks like JoCarole caught). There was one that I read where he hinted at only working with large VA firms as there were more options there.
