Hi. I was hoping to work with a coach who then decided to hire virtualdynamos instead. She thought they could do a better job with all her various needs. The site is presented as if it's a team of workers, but then just the owner is featured, and no info about anyone else .... I'm sure it's legit and everything, just not entirely clear from the website who all is involved.

They are a legit company from what I know. I had signed up with them when they first opened their doors. I took part in their nationwide conference call and filled out their application etc. They were still going through a lot of growing pains when I initially signed up. I never really heard anything back from them, but I didn't actively pursue it either as my own business started to take off.

Hello everyone,

I am very familiar with Rebbecca, the leader of the Virtual Dynamos and wholeheartedly vouch for her integrity, knowledge and experience. (I hope I'm not telling my age here because I know many of the "old timers")

For those of you newly entering the industry (say within the last 3-5 years), you may not know of Rebbecca, but she was the VERY FIRST person to create a free, public, VA information site where anyone could find information about the entire industry, organizations, services, etc. She also ran a very active yahoogroups with hundreds of members.

As time went on, however, she needed to spend time on developing her business, and many other groups had launched in the interim, so she began focusing on coaching and eventually transitioned to Virtual Dynamos.

Her business model is the multi-VA staffing/team model, which is successfully used by many, many established VAs.

Maybe it's just because I was already in a bad mood when I checked out Virtual Dynamos site, but I felt like it was putting down Virtual Assistants that work alone. We're all VAs whether we work solo or for a Multi-VA business, so I think we should be supportive of each other.

No, I checked out their website and my first thought is, "Who are their virtual dynamos and what experience do they have?" It has no information about who runs the company. I would recommend going with someone well known throughout the virtual assistant industry that has established themselves, like A Clayton's Secretary, rather than some faceless company.
