I'd like to clarify for those who may not be familiar with IVAA and what it can offer. IVAA is a non-profit organization and the closest thing the virtual assistant industry has to a trade association with a membership in the range of 600 members from 16 countries. They provide continuing education, a forms library, the IVAANet listserv, IVAACast newsletter archives, access to online meetings of interest to VAs and transcripts of those meetings. They offer a certification process, a member directory, access to RFPs, free web hosting as well as putting on a live convention every year. They have a mentoring program and a mastermind group for both 5+ year VAs and for those with less than 5 years in business. It is run by some extraordinarily hardworking and amazing VAs who dedicate themselves to promoting the virtual assistant industry and
do so all on a volunteer basis. IVAA is not someplace to go
just to receive job leads but a chance to share and learn from VAs who are true advocates for the industry as well as have some fun doing it!
