Default To use the name or not?
As part of our radio advertising deal we get a banner ad on the radio station's web site.

You may have to refresh it a couple of times as the ads are random but eventually you will see our Lifestyle Survey advert.

I decided to use something different and not include the company name or a bunch of "this is what we do" in small text that nobody could read.

Does this work - or should I go for a more traditional ad?

If so, what would you like to see in that space if you were a customer looking for a VA, bookkeeper, etc.

Looking forward to your feedback.

You know you can upload the ad image to your album here on the boards [you'll find your album in your profile] and then post the actual image in this thread...please post back with the ad itself - then we can all pitch in

Great!
It's quite a big space, which is great... but given that I think you have a nice opportunity to communicate more with those who see this.

I don't relate to it, first of all - because I don't golf - but then, I am not likely to fit your ideal client profile. With that said, it doesn't 'work' for ME, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything - who IS your target market?

Small to medium local businesses and entrepreneurs. Hopefully the sort of people that network through things like golf..

I have my google analytics set up on the landing page so I'm going to review in a week or two and see if we got any bites.

I'll be interested to hear how it goes - I will say though that you're casting an awfully wide net with your intentions for that ad and there are probably a LOT of non-golfing small to medium local businesses and entrepreneurs who will see it.

If you're able to experiment with the space I'd be interested to hear your results with something more general with an actual call to action, perhaps in the second week?

Keep us posted!
