I'm looking for more ways to help clients find me. Are there some good online directories where you can list your business? I've been wondering lately when a client needs a VA, where might they might look. Anyone have any resources?
Lindsay, I am listed in a few where I am a paying member. But I am also listed in unpaid directories too. I would suggest Googling something like virtual assistant directories or associations, forums. It will take some time to sort through it all, there seems to be a ton popping up all over the Internet now. I assume you listed yours here right?
I have ads a little bit of everywhere. You want to start with places like FaceBook, Twitter and then place ads on CraigsList, Kijiji. Depending on your niche you can also create profiles in places where your target market is. Joining networks and associations such as, ActiveRain for real estate agents or NAVBA for Attorneys etc.

Yes, I was thinking I would do some paying directories and also find free ones. I am in the directory here and have gotten inquiries because of it. Thank you for pointing out there are link directories in the Resources section. That's where I'll start my research.
