Thank you! I very much enjoyed this as well and have shared the link with a friend who is also a VA. I have stayed away from networking groups for this very reason. Once I get to know someone I never shut up, but before that...LOL! And please never ask me to give a speech...egads! Like she said, I do best working behind the scenes.

Thank you for another informative Podcast. The urge to put forward a professional image has been stifling my creative self. It's really good to hear that others are successful without having to conform to the stuffy business stereotype! I also enjoyed the tips for marketing - as a fellow shy person, marketing is by far my biggest hurdle. Thanks again!

Let me preface this by saying that I am not shy. However I too got great value from listening to the podcast. Thanks to both of you for putting it together!

I love how Miki uses both challenges and rewards! I use rewards and challenges to motivate myself too. In fact one of my current challenges is to invite at least one person to join me at any and every networking event. People like to be included and they LOVE to be invited. And although they don't always attend they rarely turn me down. PLUS if they provide me with contact information, an upcoming event gives me an "excuse" to touch base with them just prior to and after the event so I can stay top of mind should they ever need my services. And it's ALWAYS more fun to attend a function with someone else!
