Default Marketing Plan Workbook
Hey everyone,

I just found this great resource - a workbook that will help you create your marketing plan. It will walk you through the entire process, step by step.

BTW, this website was mentioned back in February in our Contracts section here but I finally just had a chance to check it out. It's a free site where you can download any business forms/legal forms you need for your business. Thank you to the person who found the site!

Yvone

Yvone ... I'm unable to "download" the workbook. How do I access it? Interested in ramping up my marketing! Karen

You can download a free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader here. Once you have that installed on your computer you should be able to download and read it.

I love that site and tend to frequent it weekly! The author Robert Middleton puts out a great newsletter as well.

First of all, I'd like to thank Eve for this post. I printed out the workbook (all 24 pages of it ) and have already completed the first 5 questions under Developing a Core Marketing Message (I filled up 3 pages and I'm sure I'll end up adding to it and making changes...lol). I was actually putting of looking at the post because I was kind of afraid it would just make me feel more overwhelmed, but I think it actually gave me the push that I needed.

I also created a blurb for the next section, Verbal Expression of Core Marketing Message. It sounds like this is to be used as your "elevator speech". I just wanted to post it here to see how it sounds and to get some suggestions for improvement. I was trying to include everything without being to wordy because I think it's intended to be used more as a conversation starter where you can provide more indepth detail.

Verbal Expression of Core Marketing Message

I work with entrepreneurs and solopreneurs such as Real Estate agents, Mortgage Brokers and authors who are having trouble balancing their administrative and core business needs but lack the space, budget and/or constant need for an in-house assistant. I provide them with necessary administrative services using my own space, equipment and supplies which keeps their overhead costs down, saving them money. Ultimately, I give them back their time and sanity, empowering them to concentrate on their core business which helps them to realize a larger profit at the end of the year.

Any feedback is welcome.

Again, thanks so much for this

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader ... I just don't know how to get the Workbook to download. I'm new to "Forums" and am not familiar with the technical aspects. I'm trying to click on the Marketing Plan Workbook on the top left side of the thread, but it's not opening. What am I doing wrong?? kj

You need to register for a free membership at DocStoc before you can download (as far as I know) That's why, when you click 'download' you get the sign in box. Try registering and then downloading...
