Before seriously considering this VA forum, I sent letters to a few churches requesting a Membership Services position. I have not heard from anyone... Maybe I should have sent a postcard....

I always include my phone number in any communication. I don't like it when companies only have their email and website address. I have used both post cards and letters and am still waiting for responses.

I prefer postcards, particularly as you can use an interesting/nice image on one side so people are more inclined to keep them.

Having said that, I have tried a couple of postcard mailshots and not had even a nibble, so I'm not sure I'll try another mass mailout.
