Hi,

No, I haven't yet -- but went to the site and the very first thing I noticed was no commission fees!!! I have submitted all my information and profiles to oDesk and Elance, but both of them charge commissions and processing fees(Elance is 6.75% to 8.75%!!!!!).

It has gotten very frustrating. I am definitely going look around on this site and do some comparisons. Let me know if you have any success if you sign up.

Deanna

I did find that charge a small fee. They don't tell you until you start the sign up process..I am trying to decide if it is worth it or not. I hate paying to get jobs, but their fee isn't any worse than what you pay paypal to receive payments. I am going to think about it and see if anyone else has any comments!
Let me know if you sign up.

I hadn't heard about it until today. Have been there and looked around at some potential jobs that I might qualify for and find it very interesting. I think that I might try 1 month just to check it out. I will let you know my experience.

I just had a look at the website to find out exactly what the fees were. As per their FAQ, they charge a monthly fee depending the the type of membership you want to purchase ranging from $4.69 to $9.00.

This might be helpful to someone starting and and looking for work or bridging a gap in between clients but I would love to hear some feedback first before paying the initial monthly fee.

My personal experience with most of these freelance job sites is that you are competing with off shore "VAs" that are sometimes charging as low as $2/hr.

I have actually gone on some of them and read a post/rfp for a potential client's requested list of services and get to the end where their budget is, only to see that they want to pay $2-4/hr!
