Default Getting the business name out there
Hi!!! Does anyone have any ideas on how to market and get the business name out there for a new VA business without breaking the bank account?

Hi!
I believe there is a thread under marketing that talks about FREE ways to market as well as inexpensive ways. I would check there first and if you cant find anything let me know and I will try to help.

Networking! That's how I've done most of my marketing. Word of Mouth is the best! Getting to know people though networking groups, and chambers are always great options!

You can't beat word of mouth. I am thinking about joining my local chamber but it is a little costly. I believe that despite the cost, it will be worth it in the end. I know the chamber offers many opportunities for networking.

Chamber was one of my best investments. My chamber has a quarterly payment plan as well, which really helped when first starting out!

I'm relatively new to the industry but have already had a great response from my local Chamber of Commerce, networking with previous business contacts and sending introductory emails to employers who are advertising for part-time administration staff in local newspapers.

Thanks everyone for the ideas... joining my county chamber is an excellent idea!!! My brother works for an upscale catering business that travels thru out NJ, NY, CT areas and the clients are very corporate, so my dad gave me the idea of my brother posting or handing my business cards to his clients... and I can post their info on my website for my clients... the great barter system lol...
