Vanessa,

Thanks for sharing.

Here is another idea. If you have a Business Journal in your area, or a small business journal they always list local business meetings. I've attended some that I didn't know anything about but learned a lot. I've been able to make some decisions about what businesses I feel comfortable working with; i.e., I'm not interested in working in the medical field. I would to help increase my client base, but am not inclined to learn medical jargon. I went to an RN meeting once and met a lot of nurses. Actually got a job from the friend of an RN I talked with.

So, there are numerous opportunities out there! Also, sometimes there's "free food"!

This is a great list. Another idea you might want to try is article marketing. It is a subtle way to demonstrate your expertise and gain exposure for your business. I have found this to be a great networking tool and believe others will be just as happy with the results!

This is awesome. A lot of things I didn't think of! I work primarily with bloggers/internet entrepreneurs, but even so I think I can mold some of these to fit my needs. Thanks!

Vanessa! Thank you so much for this list! I'm a newbie to the VA world and this will most definitely help me!

Thanks again. If I think of anything you haven't already thought of, I'll send you the contribution to add to your list.

Super fantastic ideas!!! I already have done "some" of what you referenced but other ideas were just unique and things that made me say, "I should have thought of that"...

Thank you,
Brandy

That is an excellent list, thank you for the tips.

Starting a FB Biz page was on my mind and I think that now I will do it.

Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks so much for the list. My husband and I are wanting to put together a VA team so this list will be very helpful. Up 'til now it has just been me working with clients, we want to expand on that. This is a great list, thanks again.

Michelle,

What do you mean by a VA team? I am not sure what that means. Bare with me, I am new to having a VA business.
