I just received information about this myself. I saw an ad on Craigslist for transcriber and they sent me a test to do which I am getting ready to do now.

If anyone has had experience with them I would love to hear about it too.

I was just accepted as an independent contractor (transcriber) by this company after submitting my test last week. Yay!

But before I send them my social security number and everything else, I'd like to know whether anyone here has had good or bad experiences with them. (Robin and J+L, did you ever end up working with them?)

The Better Business Bureau gives them an F right now (http://www.dc.bbb.org/report.html?na...mpid=200510625) but that could be due to the fact that the Bureau doesn't have much information about it, so I'd like some more data before making a decision.

Don't know anything about the company but I never send my SSN when accepting work. I send my EIN since any work I do is in the name of my company. I'm very anal about giving out my SSN.

I have never heard of this company either. And I agree with Jenny...I don't give out my SS# to anyone unless I absolutely have to - give them your EIN.
