Call me paranoid, but when setting up your profile, it asks you to enter ALL of your contact information. Is anyone else nervous about that? It seemed that I could click on "contact me" for other people and your address, phone number, etc. is there for anyone to see that. I would rather just show an email as the contact information.

Has anyone else had reservations about that? Thanks!

I don't think that the buyers have access to all of that information. And I know they don't have access to it unless they are registered as elance buyers who want to invite you to bid. If they just want to look at your profile, that info isn't listed.

I've never had a problem with it. Is that contact information any different than information you would list on your website or your business card? I use a PO Box so people don't have access to my home address and my cell number is my business number.

Thanks for your comments. I would not mind sharing that info. to the buyers, because as you wrote, it is information that is on your website. I was thinking that anyone might use that address and email as a way to spam you...but actually, that is info. on a website.
