Default Creating A Campagin on Craigs List
Hello Everyone!

I know not everyone uses Craig's List but some of us do and I wanted to pass on this wonderful video and article to those who are using Craig's List and those who are contemplating using Craig's List.

http://www.craigslistmarketingmatrix.com/

This is a free video to view and has great information on how to use Craig's List for potential clients, and for your clients advertising campaigns.

I do not advocate buying the video that he is selling along with the workbook. But, the video you can watch for free should give you great ideas for your or your clients own campaigns.

Andrea

I'm watching it now, it seems pretty interesting. Is this something you would rework for your VA business, or would you do it for agent listings?

I do this for my own campaigns on craigs list and will be doing this for my client who is a writer and speaker. I think it would be a great benefit for REVA's to sell this service to their clients as well.

I post on Craig's List every other day. The video is incorrect. For each account created on Craig's List, (using an different email address) you must also provide a unique phone number for authentication. I have three different CL accounts and when creating the accounts used family or friends phone numbers for this purpose.

What the video doesn't tell you is for every time I post on CL, I personally receive 20-30 responses for illegitimate job offers. So, although I have gotten positive results from CL, I also spend at least 30 minutes per day deleting junk mail.

Thank you, I have never thought about Craig's list. The video was good, but the guy is a horrible speaker LOL.. I think this guy used UM at least 150 times..

I've used Craigslist for personal stuff and like someone mentioned, I've had a problem with spam. It would be good to reach a wider market, but only if the time payoff is worth it.

I have also had trouble with spam after posting on CL for other things and debated whether or not to post for my business. I have the video bookmarked to look at during my next scheduled browsing time.

Thanks for the info and useful comments.

Isn't finding a way to get around Craig's terms of service by using multiple email addresses and multiple phone numbers also spam? I guess I'm just a boring old rule follower!

I use one email address and place my ads in the advertising section everyday. I am not sure how others do it.

But, I also own more than just my VA business, I have 4 other online businesses and have ads to place under those accounts.

If you are a VA and you work for multiple clients, it is best not to use one email address for all of your clients advertising. That should be the rule of thumb for any advertising you do online.

Spam is going to be a given for any online advertising you do. No matter if it is Craigs List, Kijiji or any other free or paid service.

The best way to determine if Craigs Lists is right for you is to try their free advertising services for about 4-6 months and see if it works for you.

Andrea thanks for the link. I never thought of using Craigslist in that capacity so it is an interesting avenue to explore. I think I will do like you said and do the 4-6 month trial and see where it goes. Thanks again.
