I agree with CyberAsst - it's free and it can't hurt to try. Although be very careful of the ads that have a link or sound too good to be true!

I tried responding to ads on Craigslist a while back but had no luck. I may try to place a classified ad and we'll see what happens.

What category do you get the most responses? Under the jobs posted or small business ads.?

All I get is a bunch of spam in my inbox. Mostly scams from over sees but a lot of pay-for scams too. Drives me insane. Craigslist is too easy for spambots and creeps.

I've place my ad on both craigslist and kijiji for the past couple of months, and I haven't received any leads yet. I am still persistent though, because something might just come through. On kijiji, you can get an idea of how many people view your ad (which is cool).

Thanks,
Cecilia

I use Craigslist often. I usually post an ad in the Small Biz or Financial Services categories. I have had a couple of responses. You have to be in the right place at the right time so to speak.

I posted before about someone i know who has had great results with Craigslist. She mentioned that she also posts in the gigs area. I have never used Craigslist myself but if she is getting good results that might be another good area for you all to also list in.

Perhaps the wording is the key! I have sent out uncountable response emails and all I have gotten was spam! I take that back, it did drive people to my website...so you never know who will tell someone about it. But noting tangible has happened for me. Maybe someone who has had success with Craigslist can post their wording?
