I'm really curious as to how many of you have gotten leads just straight from your website. Someone you had no prior contact to, or didn't receive any promotional pieces from you. Just a straight SEO lead.

Hi Lisa, I did receive inquiries via straight Google searches a number of times and contracted a handful of projects in that way (I no longer have my professional website up as I've switched to referral only).

I've gotten several clients that way. Some have become repeat clients. They aren't ongoing, but project work - just got one this week, someone who needed Visio drawings done.

I haven't had any cold clients from my website. Most of them were referred to me, then went to my website and contacted me. I've only had my VA site up for a few months though, so I'm working on the seo aspect of this every day.

We just had our website up last March and so far, every week I receive new inquiries for our services. Though I haven't kept track of the inquiries, I was able to win 4-5 clients straight from our website.

I haven't gotten any from the website, my customers have come from cold calling and mailers. I'm hoping that changes though.
