I am attempting to place a classifed ad in our local newspaper. However, I am hoping someone can suggest some wording for the ad that would be eye catching yet explain what a virtual assistant does in the easiest terms. Has anyone had a ad that has been successful for them? Would you be willing to share it with me? I live in an rural area where the term "virtual assistant" is still a very foreign concept.

I am finding that everything I write is too wordy and confusing for a simple classified ad. I wanted to publish it this week, while I work on a press release for next week. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Actually I submitted it this morning. This is what I came up with:

Save Time & Money with a Virtual Assistant! Do you need help with bookkeeping or administrative tasks so you can concentrate on growing your business? I can help with any task a traditional in-house bookkeeper or administrative assistant performs without the costs of additional office space, equipment or benefits. I am an independent contractor that works from my office. Pay on an hourly or per project basis. 12 years QuickBooks experience.

I ended it with my website, phone # and email address. We will see if it works

Thanks! I just hope it works and introduces the people in my area to what a VA does! I am so glad I got it done by the paper's deadline...Now on to the press release

The ad looks good. Just curious - how expensive was it? Here in Kansas City it would be too expensive for me to do. I'd have to do a much shorter version.
