I need to do this more for my own business because I do this primarily for clients and the rewards are indeed great.

One other mention about article writing is that these can be recycled into white pages, downloads, blogs, postings on other boards and can even be faxed or emailed (recommend fax) to local newspaper editors who may be looking to fill space with good information.

I love marketing through articles. It's also such a great service to provide to clients. What's great is that they not only see results in sales, but if you chose your keywords wisely and submit to the top places, they can get 1st page Google rankings. Meaning for their keywords you can get them on the 1st page of Google.

I often use Alexa to find good article submission places. It tells you top ones and their page rankings.

For my other business (site for women who are trying to conceive) I wrote a few articles and submitted them manually to ezine and a few other article sites. They proved to be well worth it and i received quite alot of interest from them. I'd recommend it to everyone

I think its the first step to start promotion on internet, Articles. They still are one of the most important way to promote your business online.
