The Virtual Office Goddess, LLC hosts 'LLC Basics Information' in the Virtual Assistant Forums live chatroom. A "light" version of this information will be provided followed by an informal question and answer session on the topic.

Bummer, this will take place 5AM my time so I doubt I will be able to participate as it will be the early hours of Monday morning. Maybe next time you could have one later in the day (our late morning) for those of us on a different time zone.

This info primarily relates to US businesses. I'm in mountain time so I was trying to make it a little more compatible for those back east, as well as on the pacific coast Tess should be archiving the Q&A session once it is complete, but be sure and send me any questions you may have and I will try to answer them as well.

I'm excited. I just added it to my schedule, although that is the weekend we are suppose to be moving, so hopefully I'll be able to fit it in if we have internet.

This is an interesting topic. I'm now wondering if my business needs a new "structure". I just watched a client of mine, who is an attorney, change her business from a sole propprieter to an LLC. Hopefully by next Sunday I'll have enough posts as a newbie to join the chatroom! :-)

Patti, I'd bet that with an attorney for a client you'd have some interesting insight to alot of legal issues. I'm sure you'll have a healthy post count in time - most new members surpass 25 posts in the first day of membership just by reading and replying to existing conversations, asking questions, etc.

Lily, thank you for such a truly informative seminar. I, personally, felt a little overwhelmed by the whole LLC process (and I handled US immigration paperwork without a lawyer! ) - your help is much appreciated.

I *will* be cleaning up the text from this event and posting to the forums. I'll update this thread when it's ready.
