Default Liability Insurance and Client Contract
Hello Everyone,

New to this forum and looking for some assistance. Is anyone carrying liability insurance when working virtually with your clients? What type of contract are you having them sign? Any public contract samples out there?

Any help on what the standard documents are would be really helpful

Hello Christine,

I am not familiar with any insurance contracts to include for a VA practice.

There are a few threads discussing Errors and Omission Insurance in which case you would purchase that from an insurance agent. Here's a thread you can read.

I found this by using the search feature at the top of the navigation page.

HTH.

Hi Janine,

Thanks for the link. I am in search for a free basic contract or scope of work document that includes NDA info or confidentiality and privacy statement, in which we can use as an agreement with clients. Any thoughts? I can not access the ones here because I am not at 50 posts.

Hi Christine,

I believe the number to access the documents is 25 posts. I don't think you are very far away! So if you can keep on going with your posts, it will be well-worth it to attain access to the free document library here.

And if you reply to me that will be 1 less post!

Christine,

Once you have your contracts in place you will modify them according to your terms and business policies.

You will find great information in this packet http://www.virtualassistantforums.co...t-packet-16417 which also includes sample contracts and forms.

Only 4 posts to go so you are almost there!

Christine,

What do you mean by 'get more RFPs'?

I believe you can access RFPs here at VAF at 25 posts.

But don't only go for RFPs...build up your social networking sites and blogs because you can find potential clients in this arena as well.

You can PM me here and I have accepted your networking request.
