I obtained my tax ID this morning and now I'm looking into filling out the DBA form and filing it. How much does that cost? I'm really low on start-up funds. That all depends on which state you're in and what your state requirements are. If you obtained a Tax ID it's usually best to get your dba approved prior to obtaining it incase your name is not allowed.
