Hoping someone can help me find an answer to this question: I'm working on a restaurant's website and wanted to include good reviews about them. They have over 50 positive reviews on Urbanspoon, Yelp, and Trip Advisor. However, they have about half a dozen negative reviews too. Can I copy the good reviews off those sites and paste them into the restaurant's site? Or is that considered copyright violation? If I just link to the review sites, the negative ones will also show up.

I just discovered that Yelp enables you to link to individual reviews so it looks like that's the solution there. But I wonder about Urbanspoon & TripAdvisor.

Any input would be appreciated.

You can link to those websites that the comments are posted on, that would be the best you could do however.

If you look in the terms of service for each site you're interested in using content from you'll find they each have a unique set of rules - here's a link to the TripAdvisor info on what you can use on your client's site.
