Ok, that was confusing .

I need a copyright and I saw a copyright on another Website that would probably work for articles that I currently write.

Now, I am (not) sure if this falls into the category of plagarizing which is something I don't subscribe to. This is not the content of this other writer, only her copyright at the end of her article.

Does anyone know the answer to this?

Confusing, but I understand what you're saying. And good question. To which I don't know the exact answer, but I am sure someone else does.

In the meantime, I found this website that gives some examples of copyright clauses that you could use as a template. While I don't know the answer to the above, I would steer anyone away from copying anything from someone else's website.

Lastly, this website deals with Creative Commons licenses and how they work and how you can use it on your own website (including giving you the code), it looks like it may also be helpful for what you are looking for.

Kate posted a really great answer to this question - I'd say probably there are only so many ways to write a copyright clause, and they are generally 'standard issue' - but to be on the safe side, I'd use anything you find [and like] as a sample or template and rewrite in your own words.
