I had to move back to New York and I was wondering where to go to get a business license for my VA business here?

Hello, I live in Brooklyn, NY. You have to go to the NYS Division of Corporations, click here for the site. Read it carefully, if you already have a LLC or a Corporation setup outside New York State. You can keep the Corporation or LLC as is, but in New York State it will be a Foreign Domestic Company. Talk to your tax professional about this. Sade, I stalked your twitter page and see you are in Albany. I am in the Saratoga area so not far from you. I am only a DBA still (have been since 2007) and all I had to do for here is apply for the DBA and send a check for $35.
