I just started as an LLC because it wasn't expensive at all and I will want to expand, so figured I'd just go that route right away. Also, because of taxes and I've also been advised that it makes you look more serious. I don't know about that part, but I figured that it couldn't hurt.
I chose an LLC for the asset protection. BVA was started as a way for me to work and take care of my family at the same time. So when I was choosing a business entity I chose the simplest way to take care of my family and make sure that my house was safe from any business mistakes I might make.
