Default Business Classification
What classification did you use to license your company? Did you have to obtain multiple licenses for diverse services? (Location specific)

Thanks for all your input.

Colorado does not require a classification. I assume this is for Nevada?!? Do they have a list of classifications that you can choose from?

To work from home, one must have approval from current planning. Even if you are mobile, you must have a license for your physical location in addition to the unincorporated areas. Area lease contracts also preclude one from working from home. Otherwise, if your work physically crosses borders within the Metro area, you have five other licensing agencies to deal with. There are grey areas, though. Mobile notaries do not need a business license - primarily because they are registered with the Secretary of State's office. But, the same holds true for LLC's.

Primarily, I just wanted to point out that business licensing is a stickier wicket in some areas and was genuinely curious as to what others encountered. I thought the question would prove similar to the question on what title others have used on their business cards - owner/CEO etc.

Thanks for listening.
