Question RFP Question
I have seen a great thread regarding A Welcome Package going around the past few days, and it got me thinking about other procedures that I may need to evaluate. Does anyone use an RFP template? If you do, would you mind sharing, I didn’t see one in the library.

What additional information do you include with an RFP?

Susan,

If an RFP or registry request comes through that I am attracted to, I simply do research on that client on the Internet. Then, I craft an individual email to them telling them why I am attracted to their request, a little bit about me and my consultation process. Since I have a 3-step process, I want to make sure they are a great fit and don't have a problem with that process.

Hi Susan, I actually don't use an RFP template because every client request is different and asks for unique specifics. Like Kyle, I feel that I get my best angle from doing research before submitting my reply. I also agree with Kyle that crafting a truly personal approach is so important. It can be the thing that sets you apart from everyone else [who IS using some sort of form-reply]

I personally use a contact form on my website and respond to each request from a client based on a personal approach that "fits them" now I am still 'small' and hope I can continue to do this always, but in the future may have to look into a different approach. I would love to stay more personal, because that is who I am.

Anyone else use a standard RFP type form? I would be curious to see an example for possible future ideas.
