Default Responding to an RFP for a Client
I was just asked by a client if I have experience responding to RFP's as they have been provided with an RFP by a large company.

Has anyone done this for a client before? If so what questions did you ask to ensure you are getting all of the right information and responding to the request properly?

There are many great resources on the web about responding to RFP's. With that said most large company RFP's require certain information presented in a specific format. I would ask to see the RFP so that you will know which information and in what format needs to be presented.

Depending upon who is issuing the RFP, if done correctly, its typically straight forward and easy to respond. They will list the requirements. If you meet them, then respond.

I work on local government RFP's weekly and they are straight forward.

I suggest looking up proposals for corporate companies or proposal samples etc online and you will probably come up with many samples to have a better idea of what is expected. I am curious to know if you come up with anything so keep us posted!!!

thanks! I will let you know what I come up with. I told her I would give it a go, I'm just nervous about it failing!
