Do you have any personal 'red flag' stories you can share?

For me, the most commonly encountered red flag is someone who doesn't realize that working with me is an investment in their business and balks at the rate. The other red flag I've seen a lot is the 'I can't pay you for this project but there will be LOTS of paying work down the road...' If you say so!
