I am so excited! My first (well second client-the first was basically handed to me) client has just emailed me back saying she still needs help and wants to talk next week!! I am so excited I could dance. This client was referred to me by a fellow VA (love her!) and I have been waiting to hear from her for two weeks. I took all of your advice (from another thread) and contacted her one more time and today she emails be back!! I am beside myself and wanted to share. Thank you all for your advice on following up that One More Time. It really paid off!!! I'll let you know how it works out! Thanks again.
Congratulations! I truly believe follow-up is essential in the business world. For some, you need to follow-up a few times before you get a response. For me, this is a good sign because it possibly means they REALLY need an assistant!
It is very exciting news!! Follow-up is sooo important. It has sometimes taken me 6 months or more to land a client from initial contact. When you stay top of mind, they will call you when they are "desperate" for some help.
Can't wait to hear about client #3!!! I'm sure that one is just around the corner!!
