This has been an unbelievable week. I had two calls from potential clients on Tuesday and met with one of them today. He emailed me this afternoon that he wants to work with me! The other one is probably going to work with me and I'm just waiting for her to return the letter of engagement.
I went to a meeting with a client yesterday morning. The meeting was at her client's location - we were demoing the templates and forms we are creating for them and they loved the work I did. My client suggested to her client that they take my card in case they had projects for me to work on. How great is that! The client in question is a large Canadian insurance company - I'm so excited.
My head is spinning from the excitement! It's incredible!
Isn't it just wonderful when things come together like that?
And when you've got one client freely recommending you in person to another client it must feel so great

Not so fabulous Kylie, I worked all weekend on a rush for one of the new clients because he had a deadline but it's the last weekend I'm working I won't be doing that again anytime soon, but that's one of the lessons you learn. But all in all, it was a pretty good week. When I add up all the pros, the cons don't seem so bad. I'm taking today off.
I haven't worked weekends for a few months now and I hate it now. So does my family. I hope you enjoyed your day off! Best bit about being self-employed!!
