I agree with MondayMorn and Janine, you should always be upfront with the client. Although I do not actually have my business up and running. Some things that you learn from working in admin do stick....lol... I worked with a company that did business management and the only part that the actual "boss" did was the event management side...the rest of it fell to me. The actual business that was being managed thought that all the work was done by my "boss". The only way they found out was coming into the office and seeing me at work on their requests. Then the questions came...and then the additional boost to the company pay, of which I got none. Looking at all of this, it was like the work was subcontracted to me, but for less than I was worth. By the way ...this is one of the reasons that I am now where I am. My point- always be upfront and you will have the clientel and the additional support that you need. In my opinion, a client can not fault you for sub-contracting, if the idea does not appeal to them, there is always the next.
