Default Communication Gap
Hi ... I worked with a client for more than 8 months ... My promised raise was after three months ... Initially when I started work I was to take care of CVs ... my work profile kept changing and I also adjusted with it ... Overtime the work completely changed.

My schedule hours - 4 hours .. Noon to Eve ... But then he wanted me to be avail other timings just because I was free .. Even after six months I never got a raise ... So after 8 Months ... I asked for a raise .. he said he's not happy with few things and that he wants me to increase my hours and also be avail round the clock .. so he can send work anytime ... He kept telling he was not happy with anything just because I asked for a raise .. as I ask feedback for every work I do! and he has liked it throughout .. After all who will pay a person for moths without it?

So after a duration I said it was not possible to work off hours scheduled .. .as I have other responsibilities and married ... then he said I can work for 4 hours as schedule without a raise .. so I refused and opted out of work. Is it wrong?

A few days back he came back to me stating though I din work well .. he wants to give me a chance again for the same pay ... I said I have joined elsewhere ...

My dilemma is the current place ... appreciates my work and happy with the same .. they give me better package too. Is my decision to choose a place that respects me and my work along with a better pay package right ?

Best Regards
