Default Client Time Management
I'm not sure if this is the place to post this question...Do any of you manage your clients calendar making sure they aren't double booked and they make it to the meetings they are suppose to?
How do you handle this? How do you bill for it? Do you bill a minimum per week? Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!
Thank You!

Hi Laurie

Great question. There are a number of ways you can do this. Personally my team and I are responsible for booking government audits for one particular client. She gives us the list and we make the calls. They know they have to get the audit done, otherwise they lose their funding.

I have access to the client's exchange server (emails, calendar, contacts) and my assistant logs into the client's exchange server to make the appointments with the training organisation over the phone. She then sends a confirmation email of the appointment to the person on the client's domain and BCC's the client.

My assistant then prepares all the documents necessary, zips and sends them to our client the week of the appointment.

There are other ways of maintaining someone's appointments for them but this is one example from my business.

Great - thank you! I was thinking of using on on-line scheduler since the person I'm working with is an individual and doesn't have a network - not yet at least. I could also talk to her about logging into her computer virtually...
I think her issue is more that she forgets so my initial thought is I'd contact her at the end of each day reminding her what her schedule is for the next day.

I use google's calendar for my one client, that can be an option to look into.

I second the suggestion on the Google calendar and take the opportunity to endorse Google apps. It's made my business a lot easier at no additional expense to be able to share/update calendars and documents where it is easily accessible to my clients and I from any computer.

With Google calendar you can set an option so it will email the agenda through to your client for the following day.

I don't do client calendar management, but I use google calendar for mine. I would be LOST without it. I have 3 calendars, one for personal and one for each business. They are all color coded and show up on the same calendar so I can quickly see what I have going on each day. I also use the email feature so google emails me every morning with my itinerary.

I love it!

Thank you everyone for your input. I'm using gmail so I'll just "move" into the other aspects as well. I've used Yahoo for years but will explore google. Thanks again!
