Question Can someone explain SendOutCards please?
SendOutCards is one of those things I see discussed here often enough that I'd rather ask for info from my fellow VAs than Google it - and I'm so curious about this service and wondering how it works, what the cost is and how it can benefit my practice in terms of client relations - any input?

Also, are there any 'competitor' services out there to consider?

Thank you!

Send Out Cards is a tool where you can go online and send cards. You can upload your contacts and schedule cards to go out even. You can even upload your signature. I know several people who use it and love it. Personally, I'd still rather hand write a card. I've talked with Mindy who is an independent distributor of Send Out Cards and you'd like her. Here's a link to her site.

It's a great tool for the right business. It's quite popular especially with insurance and real estate agents.
However, I'm with Sue when it comes to my own business. I prefer handwriting cards to clients and prospects.

Tess,
I love the SOC system. I'm not a member of SOC but a majority of my clients are. Like Sue mentioned, you can upload contacts from outlook or an excel spreadsheet and sort them into groups such as - VAs, Colleagues, Clients, Potential Clients and so forth. They have a huge selection of cards to choose from. Sue also mentioned adding your signature you can also send a sample of your handwriting in to the company, which they keep on file and you can choose to send "handwritten" cards as well. You can also add gifts directly from the SOC site to accompany your card when sent.

There is several different packages as far as cost. Ranging from approximately $400 down to $25. Different memberships will determine monthly or annual fee.

Most of my clients use the SOC system just for business purposes. Although, I had one client that makes a living through SendOutCards using the Income Opportunity!

I hope that answers some of your questions!
