Article: How to MANIFEST All the Clients You Need
I've written about Fabienne Fredrickson before - her free newsletter is absolutely worth checking out - as are her numerous articles.
I thought I'd post one of my favorites here as I myself am constantly working to MANIFEST clients, business success, income, etc.
Read on and actually DO the exercises she suggests - you'll be amazed at the results (I do a similar piece of mental work and always see incredible effects.) :
"I’m known in the marketplace as someone who takes a no-nonsense, no-excuses approach to marketing and getting clients, meaning, I do what it takes, and create systems for everything so that I’m always marketing. (By the way, my clients now do the same.) In turn, I always have a full roster of clients. That’s what I teach in my private coaching, in my Boot Camps, and in my Client Attraction Home Study System.
One thing though, which only my private clients know about me, is I also throw in a healthy dose of Manifestation, which means focusing on what you want in your life, in such a way that you start attracting what you want quickly. Some might call it “positive thinking,” but I believe it goes WAY beyond just thinking positively about something. It also takes action.
I use “manifesting” for just about everything I want to attract in my life (a certain amount of money, my boat, a new home, etc.); however, for the purposes of this article, let’s focus on attracting clients, lots of them, who happily pay your full fee.
As for just about everything in my Client Attraction System™, I’ve even come up with a formula or system for manifesting clients. Here it is: - Figure out EXACTLY what you want in great detail (how many clients, paying you how much, with the best of circumstances).
- Come up with your BIG GOAL (“My practice is bursting at the seams with 15 clients happily paying my full fee of $_____.”)
- Each day, write it down several times (I do this at least 9 times), each time imagining how great it will FEEL to sign on these new clients.
- Go back and read the big goal OUT LOUD (this ‘locks’ it in place).
- Spend several minutes, eyes closed, imagining your full practice in all its details and glory.
- Write down one BIG action step you’ll take that day to make this happen.
- Notice the synchronistic, happy “coincidences” you experience during the day that seem like a sign from the Universe, as they relate to your big goal.
- Each day, spend a couple minutes writing down how very fortunate you are, what you are grateful for today, and what you would like to attract more of.
- While you’re at it, write a letter to whatever you call your Higher Power (I call mine “Universe”) and go into greater detail about what you want, asking for it to be done by a certain date.
- Have faith in the process. Don’t cancel out all your “manifesting” with negative comments or thoughts such as “why am I doing this anyway, it won’t happen, it never does.” If you start thinking that way, you can stop yourself right away and revert back to the big goal, and how it will feel to achieve it. Faith in this process is 80% of the game.
Granted, there’s a lot here and I do just about all of it each day, but you don’t have to. Even if you do only ONE of these things, consistently, you’ll start noticing opportunities coming out of the woodwork, happy coincidences pointing you in the right direction. Take action on these, they are divinely sent! As a result, you’ll start attracting lots more clients. I promise.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT:
It’s a new unusual way of attracting more clients, one that we’ve never talked about here and one that you might not be familiar with. However, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. Even if you are familiar with it, perhaps you’ve not taken the time and effort to apply it consistently. Make some time for in your day for this, each and every day, and you’ll start seeing results quickly.
If you like the idea of this and want to try it in addition to the more pragmatic marketing stuff we regularly talk about, you’ll probably enjoy the book “Excuse me, your life is waiting” by Lynn Grabhorn. I did.
Back to “regular” marketing techniques next time. If you can’t wait until then, check out the Client Attraction Home Study System™ for attracting all the clients you need with proven, systematic processes that will help you fill your practice quickly and consistently, guaranteed! Re: Article: How to MANIFEST All the Clients You Need
Wow - what an inspiring article! I've always believed in the power of positive thinking; as a glass-half-full type of girl with a healthy dose of optimism, I've never run into a problem that I couldn't handle, and I seem to have a lot of lucky breaks. I think it's more than just luck, though! I have a good friend who has a much more negative mindset; he's always saying that he doesn't like to get his hopes up about upcoming events because something always happens to ruin things. I keep telling him that it's his attitude that's keeping him down...even if you encounter a small setback, you just need to pick yourself up and find a way to get past it!
Thanks for sharing the article, Tess! For once, I can't wait to do my homework!

Sure thing Tammi I'm certain you'll get alot out of it - it *does* take a certain frame of mind to be able to take advantage of this energy - sounds like your friend is happy living in a self fulfilling prophecy (many people are actually afraid to succeed!!)
I always like finding out others in my immediate circle are optimists - the more positive energy you surround yourself with the better!

Re: Article: How to MANIFEST All the Clients You Need
There's quite a bit of talk these days about the Law of Attraction.
For me, the trick is being specific enough about what I want.
I will take this post as a cosmic nudge to work some more on that "ideal client" image.

Tess,
Thanks for the article. I just love stuff that makes you look for the positive side of things, since that is what I try to do on a daily basis. I too ordered the cd and signed up for the newsletter. I think it will only benefit me in the long run.
I just knew joining this forum would be good for me. As I mentioned before, I've had a hard time finding clients, but since being on the forums and gaining some much new insight and confidence, I feel that first client will be here any day now.

Joni, that is so great to hear!
It can be really hard to keep that torch burning, especially when you feel like you've DONE everything that can be done to try to gain clients - you're so right in maintaining that positive energy....it does and always will make all the difference.
There is another thread you might really like about defining your ideal client. In the meantime, keep that faith that your ideal client is going to manifest at exactly the right time, and that you DESERVE that connection and success!

Re: Article: How to MANIFEST All the Clients You Need
Great article! I think I've been doing a lot of these "manifestation" exercises lateley without even realizing it. The funny thing is that I've had this dream for a really long time of having my Dad restore an old 68 Volkswagon Convertible for me. He builds and restores street rods and he was going to do one for me when I was 16. His friend had a piece of junk shell (complete with flower child daisies on the sides....no lie) that my dad was going to buy. Well, it never got done. He said that he didn't think I really wanted it. Admittedly, it was a little hard to get excited over because it was so sad looking...lol
Well, I've never quite been able to get it out of my head all these years and one of my "Vision Board items" is to finally have one built for me.
I can so envision myself putting around Tampa in a custom convertible bug  lol.
Anyhow, I was driving down the road the other day and happened to glance over at the storage place in town. A place that I pass by almost every single day and happened to notice two bugs, sitting beside one another, tucked between two buildings. Both are really old (look to be about 60's or 70's which is what I want) and, guess what? One had a convertible top! I had to do a double-take...lol
I came back to work and went online to see what restoreable bugs are going for and they're a lot more expensive than what I thought. Some were as high as 5000 and still had to be completely rebuilt. BUT, I could get lucky and they tell me I can have it for free if I haul it away. Right? Now I just have to get up the nerve to find out who owns it and what they'd want for it. Ok, now I just have to go home and manifest the FREE part...lol
