Post 5 Ways to Improve Your Company’s Vibe
Dictionary.com defines ‘vibe‘ as a distinctive emotional aura experienced instinctively; “that place gave me bad vibrations”; “it gave me a nostalgic vibe”.

Here are five ways things I recommend you do to improve your vibe today:

(1) Create a Personality for Your Business

Each and every day when you come to your computer or one of your team members does the same thing, have them put their ‘business vibe hat’ on… What I mean by this is explain to your team members (and yourself!) exactly how you want people to feel when they interact with your company. Long after people remember what you said, they’ll remember how you made them feel.

(2) Become Memorable

Get creative! People get a good vibe when they feel that creativity is high and openness is accepted. If you can walk into a business or interact with someone who is highly creative and open, you’ll find that you are more apt to become comfortable quickly thus picking up a great vibe from your surroundings.

(3) Say Thank You… Often!

When people feel as though they are being appreciated by another person, they’ll walk away with a good vibe. They know that you aren’t taking them for granted or trying to use them to get ahead. Thank the people you interact with every single day and maintain that level of appreciation.

(4) Live in Abundance

When you are giving in nature, people will more likely flock to you and your business. I am not suggesting handing everything you’ve got over but don’t be afraid to share resources, give away some info-products, do free teleseminars, etc. Make yourself accessible and give! Giving is one of the best ways to improve someone’s feeling about your company.

(5) Make Someone Laugh Each Day

Don’t end a work day without making someone laugh. When you’re speaking to someone in a business capacity, it’s very easy to maintain a ’stuffy’ attitude and keep it entirely about business. I guarantee that if you make at least one person laugh each and everyday, you’ll contribute to how you make people feel rather than being know for what you do.

Most importantly, be yourself and be authentic. Don’t try to develop another person’s vibe for your own. Let it come naturally and grow organically and I can assure you that your vibe will remain in tact for a long time to come.
